New City Group Leader Training || July 2017
July 30th, 2017
Please register anyone attending the training and indicate through registration any childcare needs.
The Paradox Church exists to saturate the city of Fort Worth with the glory and grace of Jesus. City Groups are our primary way of doing this! So we want to constantly be developing City Group Leaders who love Jesus, love people, and understand, own, and lead out in our vision and mission of gospel advancement. This training is an initial step in that development process for those interested in becoming new City Group Leaders.
On July 23rd we will focus on the biblical precedent for Christian community. We will also discuss the vision and mission of The Paradox Church and how City Groups function within these.
On July 30th we will discuss The Paradox Church's philosophy of City Groups as well as the roles, responsibilities and expectations of City Group Leaders.
The training takes place on Sundays, July 23rd and July 30th, 8-11:30am. Coffee, donuts and kolaches will be provided.
Please watch Gospel Fluency (63 min) and email your convictions to email@example.com before the first session. You can access the video by clicking here.
Also, if you have not yet done so, please fill out and submit the CG Leader application found here.
Training will be at the Paradox Church offices -- 910 Collier St. #200 Fort Worth, TX 76102.
I will try to have someone downstairs with a garage door opener to let you in the parking garage. Otherwise, street parking is available.
Childcare will be provided. Please make sure to register your kids too.
If you have any questions please email Josh Morgan (firstname.lastname@example.org).

Covenant Partnership at The Paradox is a commitment to the mission of God through the local church and participation in gospel friendships. The two week partnership class is first step towards becoming a covenant partner at The Paradox. Covenant partners
"God’s plan for his church is that we would belong to a local covenant community of faith. This is for our own protection and maturation, and for the good of others.” – Matt Chandler
Read this article by Matt Chandler on the importance of church membership.
As God’s covenant people we are unified under this vision that God has for us. And then, together, we covenant to love and serve and disciple each other to that end. Partnership is less a membership at a club, but more a loving commitment to one another. Even through the messiness of our sin, differences, and selfishness, we help each other navigate the mess of our hearts as Jesus does his gracious work in and through us.
- The two-week class is the beginning of the Partnership Process. An interview with a church leader and then elder confirmation follow the class.
- If you have any questions please email Daniel Reynolds (email@example.com).
